Agenda: Week 13, 11/27-12/1, 2017

Monday–Tuesday

Create a handout (brochure, flier, comic strip, diagram, etc.) that explains the actions you can take to protect your digital information and internet devices, particularly from online dangers, as well as why these actions are helpful. Your handout needs to make sense to someone who doesn’t have any background in the topic. To be successful, you need to do the following:

  • Be accurate
  • Name the points of vulnerability
  • Explain possible consequences 
  • Describe ~practical~ strategies for staying safe
  • Use visuals (diagrams, photos, sketches, etc) to help explain your ideas

  • Quiz on Wednesday on how the internet works. You may have one page of notes with you.

Tuesday

  • Photograph your internet model
  • Finish Internet Security research
  • Quiz on how the internet works on Wednesday

Wednesday

  • Quiz (answer form)
  • Turn in your group notes in Google Classroom.
  • Go to Google Classroom and open the assignment called "Class notes on Internet Security." Copy your research notes into the appropriate sections in each of the documents.

Thursday

  • Class notes on Internet Security
  • Photograph your internet project.

Friday
